Lesson 2 Learning Express/Reviewed and thought this was accurate

There are many choices for testing, which is nice.  I chose the culinary arts exam.  It was all multiple choice which is okay.  The testing experience wasn't as stressful as taking it for a grade and once the answers were scored you could view the questions and correct answers, which would be very useful for students.

It looks as if there is something for most people - for instance I could benefit from taking the Business writing clear and simple.  It may help me in my weekly newspaper column!

I typed in cognitive thinking and it came up with several e-books and tests.  I typed biology as a search and course specific e-books and tests appeared.
This type of search might be fun for junior/seniors in high school to "test" their knowledge and check their interest in an area.

Discovery - World Book School

WB Kids - I choose a coyote as my mammal. A picture came up immediately - but the habitat information was vague, which is all right for the age level using the source.
WB Student - I thought there were more tools at the top of the page.  Two pictures - one of which was a video (fun to view).  The Student World Book listed specific environments for habitat - desserts, mountains etc.
WB Advanced - India was the country of choice.  I think the way in which the screen is organized makes it easy for the patron or researcher to find what he/she is looking for without hunting.  I thought the Article contents was very complete and the encyclopedia articles were a nice added feature.
WB Discover - This was enjoyable because you cna translate the text - how cool is that??!! Not that I know another language, but... who knows.  I had thought the easiest way to find out about the American Govt. would be to click on the govt. building, but once I did, the information I wanted was NOT there.
